Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account details you give us: name, email address and mobile phone number.
• Optional profile details: photo, age, sports, skill level, home area and substitute availability (days, times, travel radius).
• Team activity: the teams you belong to, events, RSVPs and substitute requests or replies.
• Communication records: the messages we send you, their delivery status, any replies to them, and your consent choices (what you agreed to, when, and on which screen).

How we use your phone number and SMS consent

Your mobile phone number is used to reach you about your own teams: game and practice schedules, RSVP requests and reminders, and substitute invitations when a team you can sub for needs a player.

• SMS consent is optional and is never required to create an account or use I'm In.
• The SMS checkbox appears on the sign-up form, separate from the email choice; creating an account works with it unchecked, and adding a phone number alone is not consent.
• Opt-in checkboxes are never pre-checked; you must tick them yourself.
• You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any text, or by turning texts off in Settings.
• Reply HELP to any text for assistance, or email support@sayimin.com.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

The exact consent language we record is: “I agree to receive text messages from I'm In about my team's schedule, game RSVPs and substitute invitations. Consent is optional and is not required to create an account or use I'm In. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Sharing

We do not sell or share SMS opt-in information or phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.

We share data only in these limited ways:

• Within your teams: your name and RSVP status are visible to teammates; your email and phone are visible only to the managers of teams you belong to, or to a manager whose substitute request you accept.
• Service providers that operate the product: our hosting and database provider, our email sending provider, our SMS provider (Telnyx) and our payment processor (Stripe). They process data only to deliver the service on our behalf.
• When legally required, or to protect the safety and rights of users.

Retention and security

We keep your profile for as long as your account exists, and message and consent records for as long as we need them to prove your preferences and troubleshoot delivery. Data is stored with row-level access rules so members can only read what their teams allow.

Your choices

• Edit or remove profile details on the Profile page.
• Turn email or text notifications on or off independently in Settings.
• Pause substitute requests without deleting your availability.
• Request deletion of your account and data by emailing support@sayimin.com; we delete it except where we must keep records of opt-outs.

Children

I'm In is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we materially change this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
